My Herb Garden Kit

The set comes with one Styrofoam container, instruction sheet, 4 pots with netting, 1 set nutrient solution, 1 packet of vermiculite, 1 packet of seeds consisting of 4 varieties - lemon balm, sweet basil, dill and Italian parsley.


How to set up My Herb Garden Kit

1. Make sure the netting on the base of the pot. Fill the pot with vermiculite until 3/4 of the pot height.



2. Put 5 to 8 seeds onto the vermiculite. Space out evenly



3. Sprinkle some vermiculite on top to cover the seeds, this is to prevent pests like birds to eat the seeds.



4. Repeat for the other 3 pots.



5. Fill the container with water till 1 cm from the brim.



6. Pour in 40 ml of Nutrient A (Red colour) and pour in 40 ml of Nutrient B (colourless). Stir well.



7. Once the set up is completed, place the whole kit somewhere that has sunlight but no rain.



8. When the plants are ready for harvesting, simple trim the matured leaves for use.



9. When the nutrient solution in the container runs low, top up with pre-mix nutrient solution. To prepare the nutrient solution, mix 1 litre of water with 5 ml of nutrient A and 5 ml of nutrient B.
